Meso Therapy
Mesotherapy is a minimally invasive procedure where a series of superfine injections of vitamins, minerals and amino acids cocktails that are delivered into the mesodermal layer of the skin. This infusion of ingredients nourishes and rejuvenates the skin while also stimulating the production of collagen and elastin, both essential for skin’s natural elasticiy. Mesotherapy treatment is based on the a similar idea of microneedling whilst simultaneously injecting vitamins, minerals, and amino acids directly into the skin.
Facial mesotherapy is performed by injecting a mix of ingredients into the mesodermal layer of the skin, particularly around the eyes, mouth, and into the cheeks. In general, the treatments are considered relatively painless, due to the incredibly small size of the needle used. For full results, typically we recommend six to eight treatments close together, and then touch up treatments 4 times per year.
WHAT HAPPENS DURING THE TREATMENT?
During each treatment, you may or may not have numbing medicine applied to your skin. You’ll get a series of injections using a special short needle. The needle may be attached to a mechanical gun to deliver many injections in a row. The injections can be given at different depths — from 0.25 to 1.5 millimeters into your skin — depending on what condition you’re having treated.
IS MESOTHERAPY AN UNCOMFORTABLE PROCEDURE?
People generally think twice when it comes to injections, and mesotherapy does have numerous injections; however, a numbing component is usually combined with the mesotherapy cocktail. A numbing rubbing cream can also help with the sting of the needle.
HOW CAN MESOTHERAPY HELP MY SKIN?
Mesotherapy for skin revival and rejuvenation treatment to help nourish and hydrate the skin, as it stimulates collagen and elastin production. Specially-prepared active ingredients, micro-injected into the skin cell, deliver vitamins into the ‘mesoderm’ or middle layer of the skin.
WHAT SKIN CONDITIONS CAN BE TREATED?
Mesotherapy injections can treat an array of skin conditions such as ageing skin, superficial lines and wrinkles, under eye area, hair thinning, stretch marks and hair thinning. CAN MESOTHERAPY BE COMBINED WITH OTHER TREATMENTS?
Mesotherapy can be used with additional rejuvenation treatments such as Laser Rejuvenation, Anti-Wrinkle Injections, and Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP). We normally advise our clients to leave intervals of 4-6 weeks between Mesotherapy treatments for best results.
